History

Rödl & Partner was founded in 1977 in Nuremberg by the German lawyer Dr. Bernd Rödl, who also acquired the qualifications of an auditor and tax advisor in order to be able to offer his clients multidisciplinary advice from a single source.

After the fall of the Iron Curtain, Rödl & Partner was the first German business law firm to establish offices in Eastern Germany. Rödl & Partner's success story continued thanks to the trust of our clients; we now have 110 own offices in around 50 countries.

2024	Rödl & Partner opens its 110^th office in London
2023	Rödl & Partner is now present with more than 100 own offices in around 50 countries
2022	Turnover increases by 10,7 percent to a record value of EUR 588,6 million
2021	Turnover increases by 8,1 percent to a record value of EUR 531,7 million
